Double Exposure Edits

By Georgia - February 15, 2018

previous pictures from exploring portraiture and the building photography, combined together to produce double exposure effects
This idea explored the concept of combining person with place. This could lead on to combining things in the media together, such as crimes/scandals with the scene where it happened/building. This would physically display the lack of transparency/truth in the media.

I further developed this working with monochromatic colour schemes. Such as all red/all black + white. This gave focus on the overall concept, merging the elements as one, rather than two separate things  put on top of one another.

These below were some quick edits of monochromatic designs that I could use. I liked the red ones the most, I felt they worked well with the shadows and details, so used this when creating the double exposures in Photoshop.
